Mark's Index is my personal home page. As a whole, it's just another example of a self-focused digital presentation of little practical purpose, occasionally stealing bandwith from people who mean business
The beauty of publishing on Internet is that once you're out there, the response, however slight, might take you on
to new directions and turns you've hardly expected.
If you put up a site, and don't ever make any updates or changes to it, it kind of loses its appeal as far as a web site goes. This site lacks some focus, content and actuality. The whims of the author may sometimes overcome the design convention. It will not all catch the interest of a visitor, nor revolutionize the web, nor even hit the top lists, again because... The very prospect of reaching through to any presumptive owner of a modem anywhere is still thrilling enough.
