about Mark
I'm addicted to the web - why else would I maintain this page?
I was born in Swidnica, Poland.
I moved to Sweden in 1971. I have a master degree in
architecture and have practiced the profession since 1983 in several studios.
In early 1996 I slightly changed course to become a Web-architect.
Besides real & virtual architecture and spending time with my daughter, there are old Japanese airplanes, film, soccer, scale modelling, racing, cycling, target shooting,
military history, music, and Raymond Chandler.
I don't believe the Internet is a solution to, nor a substitute for, anyone's needs,
but it certainly will change our lives radically in the near future.
Though it's the commercial potential of the web that makes it attractive,
it's the generous, non-commercial side that makes it enjoyable.
If you wish to help keep up the steam - share a thought
via the guest book.

Highlights

With my father.

The Town Square of Swidnica, Poland.
The city had it's greatest period in the 12th century
and was later famous for excellent beer and for
excessive striking of own currency, undermining
the economy of the neighbouring regions.
It has since being governed, in many turns, by Czech,
German and Polish hands.

Detail of St Mary Woolnoth,
City of London, by Nicholas Hawksmoor, architect.

Snapshot in the conning tower of HM Submarine Neptun, spring of 1982.

On summer vacation in Ronda, Andalusia, Spain.
