Asahi Journal
...is a magazine published (on paper) roughly twice a year. Each issue covers a particular military aircraft, ship or armor subject in depth.
Asahi Journal Vol.4.4
  Asahi Journal Vol.4 No.4
You'll also find regular features, such as kit and book reviews and minor news and research results. Last but not least, Open Forum provides the members with a much appreciated platform to ask questions and provide answers, often beyond the scope of published references. The magazine is illustrated with original line drawings, about 24 b&w profiles, and photographs. Recent issues have a color page showing parts of real airplanes to give some idea of colors. Many readers report that Asahi Journal has things not seen in English elsewhere. It is an excellent supplement to Francillon's encyclopedia and Japanese references.
