  Drawings
Click on a thumbnail to view the side, bottom, top or front view drawing of a Nakajima B5N1. This early version of the Type 97 Attacker was powered with the 9 cylinder 770hp Nakajima Hikari 3 engine. The later B5N2 version was powered by the twin row, 14 cylinder 1000hp Nakajima Sakae engine in a smaller, longer cowling.

The images will appear in a new browser window. Because of the original size, only parts of the drawings has been scanned. Hopefully, they'll provide useful information about the vital parts and measurements of the aircraft. In order to retain as much detail as possible, the images are large, won't fit into a regular computer screen and may be difficult to print on an office printer.
